Overview
Visit the Romanesque tower dating from the 12th century and enjoy a musical recreation (2h). This tower-refuge in sandstone of the Vosges, 50 meters high, used to protect the population. It suffered a fire in the 14th century, and its western facade was rebuilt in bricks. It is accessed by a staircase carved into the wall, leading to several levels: a large room, a corridor, then a panoramic view. The lower room, today sacristy of the church Saint-Étienne, renovated in 2008, will conclude the visit, accompanied by organ stops.
