Bastide built around 1680 with stones from the demolition of the church of the Island (central district of Martigues), surrounded by a garden enriched with sculptures and inscriptions relating the history of the City of Martigues since Henri Tinque. Former property of Charles Maurras, of the French Academy, acquired by the City in 1997.
