In the shoes of judges and auditors

Throughout the day, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., CRC Occitanie staff will introduce you to two essential moments of their profession at their workplace: the swearing-in ceremonies and deliberations, during which the magistrates collegially debate their still confidential reports. You will thus be able to attend oath-taking ceremonies and fictional deliberations. You can meet directly the magistrates, auditors, clerks and all the staff of the CRC, and (re)discover the missions of this independent financial jurisdiction. You will have access to the citizen platform which allows to propose themes of control, which the magistrates then take over. In 2025, the CRC Occitanie thus published two surveys based on numerous reports, on two themes proposed by citizens: public support for bullfighting and the use by local authorities of intellectual services from consulting firms. You will be able to attend the presentation of videos : educational film on the missions of the Court of Auditors and CRC Occitanie, modules presenting recent reports and their challenges in terms of public money use. In addition to theescape game (on registration, read the event) , you will be able to participate in two new animations: the game of Return of the Bundles (all day), where it will be about perfect knots and accounting documents, and a conference (14 hours). At the invitation of CRC Occitanie, Mrs. Evelyne Samy (association Mémoire d'Oc, University of the Third Time), will give the conference "Montpellier, headquarters of the Court of Auditors, Aydes and Finance, from its creation to the French Revolution". Finally, you will not be able to leave without having pressed your own stamp of the CRC, but heritage obliges, these are the old versions of the CRC that await you: CRC Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc-Roussillon.
