Discover what is happening under our feet. In the bowels of Menton, follow the wastewater, which travels underground to the wastewater treatment plant of the Communauté d'Agglomération de la Riviera Française (CARF). With a surface area of 300 m², five employees work every day to ensure the proper treatment of the nearly 2.5 million cubic metres of wastewater that pass through it each year. Their mission: to transform this waste water into clean water ready to be returned to nature.
