Overview

Cultural and sociability pivot of the Cité-jardins de Suresnes, one of the most important of Île-de-France, labeled Patrimoine d'intérêt régional in 2018, The Théâtre de Suresnes Jean Vilar takes part in the social and urban history of the suburbs as well as the history of a popular and demanding theatre. Today it is a theatre that offers more than one hundred performances a year, produces shows that tour in France and abroad and is the venue of Suresnes cités dance, a major festival of urban dances and hip hop that will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2022.
