Overview

The castle, listed in the Inventory of Historical Monuments, is located in the heart of a 13-hectare park planted with trees more than one hundred years old. In September 1915, the castle was at the heart of the 3rd Battle of Artois. Photo exhibition including those of the visit of President Poincaré, Marshal Joffre, General Foch and General Snow. On Sunday afternoon, discovery of the classified orchard and work undertaken to safeguard the old fruit trees. Exhibition of old and regional varieties of apples and pears already identified and varieties under determination. You will be able to buy documents from the bookstore of the Apple Munchers. Depending on the quantities and maturity of the fruits: fresh apple juice pressed on site will be on sale as well as 'fallen' fruits. Informations Price: 5€, free -16 years
