Visit of the castle of Hunaudaye
Castle surrounded with staves(moats). Defence systems are still visible as vestiges of the old(former) manorial residence in the court(yard) inside. Built at the beginning of the 13th century, the castle was restored at the end of the 14th. In the second half of the 15th century, this first castle is entirely rebuilt. Two primitive(initial) towers are kept(preserved) and included into the new surrounding wall(speaker). In Renaissance, a big(great) staircase is built in the western home. The property of the castle (in former days property of the State, Ministry of Culture) was transferred to the General Council by convention(agreement) signed on February 1st, 2008.
