Visit of the church steeple

Built in 1892, the neo-Gothic church of Notre Dame de l'Assomption was designed by Eugène Hawke, architect of the department. Consecrated in 1927, the church presents a set of nineteen classified stained glass windows, made by Auguste Alleaume famous glass painter in 1895. On Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 14:00 to 18:00 the bell tower of the church will be accessible to the visit, with the possibility to see Henriette Clémentine, Madeleine Vitaline and Antoinette Marie Victorinne, the three bells of the church.
