The parliament of Dombes, inaugurated in 1703, manifests the history(story) of the Principality of Dombes, the capital of which Trévoux was. Its room of audience, sheltering the sessions of the small-claims court today, presents a remarkable ceiling painted by the painter Pierre-Paul Sevin.
