The Maison-ateliers d'ISSANKA, the work of a couple of artists, François and Madeleine Sergio. The house-workshops of François Sergio (1924-2017) and Madeleine Molinier-Sergio, born in 1935 is in the heart of the Issanka park (near the A9 motorway exit), located on the edge of the town of Poussan in the department of Hérault, near a spring that has fed the city of Sète since 1862\\. The house-workshops of Issanka is the work of a couple sharing the same passion for plastic arts and transmission. The garden, embellished with basins and porticoes created by the artist, was conceived, from the couple’s installation, as a scenographic space in which the sculptures are put into dialogue. As soon as the visitor crosses the portal, he discovers an exceptional artistic panorama composed of more than a hundred sculptures, whose height varies from one to four meters. The works enchant, open to the imagination, tell stories, evoke great myths.
