Visit of the memorial sites of Varilhes

Linked to the Resistance and Deportation, these sites bear witness to the painful history of the commune during the Second World War. Our city, with about twenty resistance fighters and 23 deportees, has been deeply marked by the conflict. In 1948, Varilhes was awarded the Croix de guerre for her active participation during the Occupation in the fight against the enemy. Age from 0 to 99 y.o. Informations Free. Without reservation.
