Unpretentious visit of the workshop. Creator of the Marchand workshop, I create sculptures and lighting reflecting the Occitan architectural heritage. Each place has a unique history and identity, which deserves to be celebrated through quality local crafts. That’s why I chose to value heritage, in response to the production of standardized souvenirs coming from the other side of the world. The creations highlight the forms of architectures of yesteryear through a contemporary vision. Manufacturing techniques oscillate between tradition and innovation, using for example curved wood for structures, and 3D printing for tools. By moving the peasant farm or the Romanesque nave into the contemporary interior, the workshop celebrates the attachment to a common culture in perpetual movement. Informations Free.
