Show on the map
21 - 22 September 2024
Overview

The only vestige of the grand Parisian palace of the Dukes of Burgundy, built in the heart of Paris, the Jean Sans Peur tower is entirely open to visitors on its five levels, showcasing everyday life in palaces, history and architecture at the end of the Middle Ages. The sculpted vault of its grand staircase is the jewel of the place, unique in France and containing an astonishing symbolism. The upper rooms are equipped with exceptional comfort to approach medieval everyday life outside the clichés. Each year, two temporary exhibitions complete the visit: in 2024 The school in the Middle Ages and the History of St Jacques tower (extended until January 5, 2025)
