Visits and conferences at Maryse Bastié high school
The Maryse Bastié high school is the only high school Limousin builds according to standards HQE (HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY). He(It) opened his(its) doors in September, 2001. The central theme of the architectural project, led(driven) by the architect René Pestre, allowed to answer a will to use natural resources at the most in an objective posted(shown) by sustainable development. So, thanks to the technological innovations concerning at once the bioclimatic conception(design) of buildings(ships), the choice(selection) of materials with environmental low impact and the installation of equipments guaranteeing an energy almost autonomy. On the site of the high-tech city Ester, he(it) joins an approach(initiative) of labelling of high school of the jobs(businesses) by the technologies of communication and by digital technology. Its technological platform (more than 1000 m ²), having recognised by France very Broadband (THD) participates to meet the challenge of the deployment of the Fiber optics(Optical fiber) in our country.
