Join ecologists from Wetland Surveys Ireland for a wetland walk and talk in one of Europe's largest peatland expanses at Wild Nephin. We will gather at the visitor centre at 6pm on Thursday August 22nd to explore the wetland habitats and learn about the plants and animals that inhabit them.

You will also hear about some of the other wetlands in County Mayo and the ongoing work to map these special habitats.
It will be a great opportunity to get some fresh air, take in the scenery and enjoy the outdoors.
Please wear suitable clothing/footwear for the conditions.
