Join Elizabeth Kehoe, Historian in Residence for the Central Area for a walking tour called Dublin’s Finest Square. There will be some of you who will disagree with that statement but by the time you have finished the tour she hopes you will love this square as much as she does – this tour will be more about people than buildings and statues but there will be plenty of information about those too.
The walk will be crossing several roads so participants should wait for the green light. The area is fairly safe but participants should be aware of surroundings and look after bags etc. The tour is scheduled to last about an hour and a half but may be longer or shorter depending on interactions within the group. Participants are free to leave at any time if it gets too much for you but please let Elizabeth know you are leaving so she is not waiting around for you. We will be walking up the east side of the square across the top and back down the west side and if we can we will finish off at the Teachers Club for tea, coffee or a drink.
