Jane Quinlan & Siobhan Geraghty will coordinate a historical walking tour of Newtown village. Siobhan will talk about the history of Youghalarra Church and Jane will tell us some of the fascinating stories of the people and characters that lived in the village over the years.

We also hope that others will share with us their own stories, memories and history of the village.

With the recently completed pathway connecting the village together, it seems like an ideal time to have a walk like this.

Refreshments will be served in Bobby Reidy’s on completion of the walk and we will try to offer lifts for anyone that may need them back to the Church car-park.
