Weaving is a beautiful traditional craft that engages a number of design and creative skills and can function as a great introduction to textiles and hand crafting. In each workshop the children will gain an introduction to weaving on a loom, and skills such as threading a needle and warping and wefting. They will each create their own colourful tapestries with the materials provided. Children will be given instructions on how to make their own loom at home if they wish to carry on the craft.
