To celebrate Wild Child Day a free fun event will be held at the visitor centre at Hill of Tara. Budding archaeologists will get the opportunity to "dig" for their own treasure. All the tools needed will be supplied on the day. The OPW guides at Tara include an archaeologist and she will show you how an excavation works. This event is suitable for children age 7-11 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress appropriately as we will be outdoors. Pre booking is essential and spaces are limited. Email hilloftara@opw.ie to secure a place
