Overview

The success was assured. The strategic commercial enclave for the foundation of the Villa de Orduña by Lope Díaz de Haro, in the century XIII, already predicted the take-off of the city to which he would give the title Henry IV in the 15th century. There was a more than adequate situation for that the religious order recently founded in the 16th century by Ignatius of Loyola established a center in Orduña to promote justice and deepen the humanistic and scientific studies of the time.

We have a great opportunity to tour its halls and rooms interpreting the memory of the educational heritage of the Jesuits in Orduña, by Itziar Aloria Jarauta, an expert in cultural and heritage dissemination, and teaching at the University of Deusto.
