Cult of Georgian women - in the footsteps of lost stories Today, the world stands on guard for the protection of women's rights, everyone condemns both femicide and domestic violence, workplace sexual harassment, where women are the main victims. The world community is fighting for women's rights, and we know that there are still many years to overcome all inequalities, inequalities that violence against women represents. Today, when we Europeans read or watch, or in any way get information about the Amazons, we think of them as incredible mythology or beautiful fairy tales, those stories about tribes somewhere far away in the Amazon jungle. "Oh, Prometheus, because of your suffering, the Amordzales, whose horses' hooves beat the fields of Colchis, weep. The wild Scythians who live in the northern valleys mourn. The Aryans, son of Ares, hate you, the sound of their spears can be heard from the city of the Caucasus rocks." -Konstantine Gamsakhurdia wrote and the questions appeared: Amordzales and Colchis? Who are the Amordzales? And the answer is simple, Amordzali is the same as a "vain daughter-in-law." Those women who represented a specific community living in the territory of Colchi, whose complete composition was women, were referred to as vain brides. Access to them was strictly regulated, and it was impossible without special permission to even talk to them, let alone some kind of physical contact. They were called a vain daughter-in-law for a simple reason - if a man wanted a child (mostly an heir) for some reason, he would go to the city of the Amordas and ask the community leader. If a man met the standard (height, weight, health), only in this case he had the right to have sexual relations with a prostitute. In this case, Amordzali's consent was also important. After the consent and the act, the boy born would be given to the man, while the girl would stay with her biological mother in the city of Amordola. This is where the name of a vain daughter-in-law comes from, a woman who was the biological mother of a son, could never become a man's wife, and therefore she/he was referred to as a vain daughter-in-law, later a mother-in-law. According to European mythology, the Amazons were the daughters of the god Ares and the nymph Harmonia, a mythical race of warrior-conqueror women who formed a mighty military kingdom. Several options for the location of their kingdom are discussed: on the shores of Lake Meotid (Sea of Azov), in Scythia, Pontida (according to Homer), in Thrace, in the vicinity of Lake Triton, in Libya (Diod.) - in Africa, or most likely in Asia Minor. This opinion misses the history of Kolkhi Amorzhals. It is possible that information about Colchi Amazons is deliberately removed from the pages of world history or their alternative histories are created, where Colchi and the role of the current geographical location are lost. In many cases, distorted facts change the history of specific countries, which always ends painfully for Georgia. The falsification of the history mentioned above is also evident both in the story of the Argonauts and in the story related to the last days of Medea's life, when she was accused of intentionally killing her children, for which she was later put to death. The changed history tells us that Medea took revenge on her husband by killing her children because of her husband's betrayal, which is why she was executed by the Greek soldiers. In fact, because of Jason's new love, which darkens his mind, and gives the order to kill both Medea and her children. All this had to be done in such a way that the image of the Greek soldiers should not be disturbed. A short phenomenon is Medea herself, who is recognized as the first doctor, her name is directly related to the word medicine. Despite the differences of opinion on this issue, one thing is more certain: they had three cities in the Valley of Doyanti, and the center of the kingdom of warrior women was Themyscira - a city on the Thermodontus River in Cappadocia. The men complained that they were not allowed to stay in their country. In order to continue the offspring, men from the neighboring country were invited for a certain period of time, and after marriage they were let back.
