The Parish Council of St. Mary’s Church Ramelton, Co. Donegal will host a Heritage Week event on Sun. 25th Aug. 2024 from 12.00pm to 1.00pm at the church and the adjacent Parish Centre.

A photographic display and presentation will be available to demonstrate the heritage works being carried out at the church with grant aid from The Heritage Council. These works are essential to preserve the building in good condition into the future, in keeping with its ongoing use as a place of worship and its status as a valuable part of the heritage of the parish, town and surrounding area.

Visitors will be invited to view the building itself, and have the current issues and the improvements being undertaken explained, and questions answered. The contractor for the works (S. Crawford, Construction) will also be present at the event. All are welcome.
The Parish Centre (former school) is located behind St. Mary's Church.
