Aperçu

Discover a church rebuilt from 1958 to 1963, as a result of war damage, by the architect Georges-Henri Pingusson, in collaboration with the architect Paul Aynes. It is located 700 meters from the church damaged during the fighting of 1940, of which remains a Romanesque tower. The Georges-Henri Pingusson building, built of reinforced concrete, is characterized by its rotunda plan, its terrace cover and its independent bell tower. The statue of Christ, as well as the bronze crucifix are made by Lambert-Rucki, the stained glass of the baptistery by Martin Granel; the stained glass of the tympanum was designed by Pierre Bozzolini.
