2025 Theme - Architectural Heritage: Windows to the Past, Doors to the Future
The IRR south building is one of the University of Edinburgh’s newest research facilities. It contains and enables scientific research that is looking to the future of human health. It was built around three staircases which we consider to be the pillars of what we do at IRR: the community staircase, the collaboration staircase, and the innovation staircase.
There is both an external ramp to the first floor where activities will be taking place, and lift access from the ground floor. We have disable parking spaces located very nearby the building, and general parking approx. 5 minutes walk away. The café will be also be open for part of the day, and water will be available throughout.
