The Victorian Schoolroom gives a unique opportunity to discover the changes that have taken place in schools and domestic life since Victorian times.
Located within The Heart of Newhaven Community. Step back in time to an authentic Victorian Schoolroom. Sit in the desks, write on the slates and feel the dreaded tawse. Visit our Home Life museum to see how our great grannies coped without electricity and see if you can name the mysterious objects and what they were used for.
Experience a short Victorian style lesson in the schoolroom and guided tours of the Home life museum
