Inch House is a traditional 16th/17th century Scottish tower house set in a magnificent surrounding park. Although greatly extended in Scots baronial style in the 1890s by the architects McGibbon & Ross, it maintains much of its original grace and character and many fascinating historical features. Since 1968 it has housed the local community centre.
Several of the oldest rooms at Inch House will be opened up to the public. Visitors will also have the chance to climb up the 17th century outlook tower (specially opened for Doors Open) and enjoy its commanding views over the south of Edinburgh.
Guided tours exploring the history and architecture of Inch House will be running every 30 minutes.
