Aperçu
Art Nouveau hotel built by Julien Rochet, architect of the Assistance Publique, of the Pitié hospital in Paris, in particular, where the Academy of Medicine has been located since 1902. The latter, founded in 1820, has as its mission to answer questions asked by the government in the field of health, the improvement and dissemination of medical sciences, but it is increasingly addressing public health issues in the broad sense. The building completed in 1902 has a classical style facade. Exceptional library on the history of medicine with 30,000 volumes, open to researchers by appointment.
