La laya es una herramienta de cultivo tipo arado de pie de Euskal Herria, usada con ambas manos y quiénes la utilizaban se llamaban “laiariak”. En este taller familiar utilizaremos layas de madera para crear joyas. Transformaremos esta pieza patrimonial vasca de la mano de la joyera Marta Fernández Caballero, la acción coincide con la exposición de interpretación contemporánea en forma de joyas de las layas de los alumnos de joyería artística de IES Bideberri.

The laya is a plough-like cultivation tool from the Basque Country, used with both hands and those who used it were called "laiariak". In this family workshop we will use wooden layas to create jewellery.
