The Society of History and Genealogy of Sainte-Croix-en-Plaine was founded on April 18, 2011 in Sainte Croix-en-Plaine. The purpose of this company is to: * Study the past of Sainte-Croix-en-Plaine by collecting all documents, photos and objects related to prehistory, archaeology, the history of this city, art, arts and popular traditions, literature, family history and genealogy * Promote and develop interest in the history and genealogy of the region, by organizing outings, exhibitions, conferences and all events to promote the history and genealogy of Sainte-Croix-en-Plaine * Participate in the conservation and protection of the city’s built heritage * Create and manage a library containing books, manuscripts, archives or photocopies and all documentation of interest to Sainte-Croix-en-Plaine * Publish works on topics of interest Sainte-Croix-en-Plaine.
