Commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the restoration and enhancement of the House of Pisa (16th century), home of the Museum of St. John of God, Albaicin
The House of Pisa is a beautiful Renaissance palace with strong Mudejar influence where St. John of God died in 1550, founder of the First Hospitaller Order of the world that is currently present in 58 countries on 5 continents.
While the Holy Chamber of the Transit of St. John of God remained intact for more than 4 centuries and a half, due to popular veneration and devotion, the house underwent transformations until the Hospitaller Order bought it and founded the Museum.
During the ceremony, old images of the state of the building will be projected and then we will visit it, going through the galleries, observing anti-Covid measures
