Pesäpallo on Suomen kansallispeli. Peli kehitettiin 1920-luvun alussa. Meidän koulun pesiskentän vieressä on muistomerkki, jossa kerrotaan, että tällä kentällä pelattiin virallinen testiottelu heinäkuussa 1921. Nyt sata vuotta myöhemmin me jatkamme pesäpallo perinnettä ja niin jatkavat muutkin oppilaat, sillä pesäpalloa pelataan kouluissa ympäri Suomen.

Finnish baseball is the national game of Finland. The game was developed at the beginning of the 1920s.  Next to the playing field where the students of our school play Finnish baseball is a stone with a plaque. The text in a plaque says that in July 1921 a final test match was played on that field. Now 100 years later we continue the sports heritage, and so do all the Finnish students as Finnish baseball is played at schools all around Finland.
