Učenci 7.c razreda iz OŠ Solkan smo spoznali zaklade frančiškanskega samostana na Kapeli pri Novi Gorici. Navdušeni smo bili nad grobnico Burbonov, Škrabčevo knjižnico, arhitekturo in zgodovino cerkve ter štukaturami v notranjosti cerkve. Spoznali smo stilizacijo in tudi sami izdelali ornamente na okvirje iz papirja. Potem nas je raziskovanje in vizija peljala še naprej, saj smo razvijali veščine pridobivanja informacij, inovativnosti in iskanja drugačnih rešitev tudi pri izdelavi ornamentov na drugačna gradiva. Pri smo bili povezani, vztrajni in iznajdljivi. Izkoristili smo priložnost in se prijavili na natečaj Mladih raziskovalcev evropske dediščine. Izdelki krasijo šolsko avlo in ponosni smo, da smo postali tudi sami mali ustvarjalci kulturne dediščine v našem prostoru.

Story Description in English:

We, pupils from the class 7C from OŠ Solkan Primary School discovered the treasures of the Kostanjevica Franciscan Monastery in Nova Gorica. We were amazed by the Bourbon tombs, Stanislav Škrabec's Library, the architecture and the history of the Church of the Annunciation of Mary, and by the stucco in the church. We learned about the process of stylization and created ornaments on paper frames. Our thirst for knowledge and our vision took us even further, since we had already trained our innovating and problem-solving skills at school by creating ornaments on various materials. We were connected, persistent, and ingenious in our work. We took advantage of the chance that we got and also created a short video for the competition for young explorers of European heritage. Our works of art are already on display in the school hall and we are proud that by making them, we ourselves have become young creators of cultural heritage in our part of the world.
