THE CULTURE OF THE AGNONESE FOOD
In this video we discuss in detail the most famous dishes that are eaten in Agnone at certain times of the year. Agnone is a mountain village located in the upper Molise, in the province of Isernia, famous for its millenary foundry, and for the "N'docciata", a tradition now famous all over the world. In addition to being famous for its foundry, the "N'docciata" and its churches, Agnone is renown four of the most famous and traditional dishes that every Agnonese knows and has eaten once in their life. These dishes owe their immense goodness to the fact that the mountainous territory in which we live is rich in raw materials and preferring livestock farming they produce dairy products, their derivatives and meats such as caciocavalli, scamorza, sausage and other typical cured meats. We would like to point out that in addition to what everyone sees and comes to visit in our country, there are centuries-old traditions repeated almost daily linked to these foods that unite our people and families around the tables to enjoy all together dishes eaten by their ancestors even very far away.
