ENG: I like Riga. The waters of the Daugava wash the edge of Old Riga. The water ripples blue and calms me. Behind the Daugava, clumps of trees grow, forming long rows of trees. A flag can be seen on a tower, which tells us that this land is Latvia. There are many towers in Old Riga, which are pointed and stretch high into the sky. Riga is the central city of Latvia, where school competitions also take place. I watched my brother play hockey. Latvia is proud of its hockey players!

LV: Man patīk Rīga. Daugavas ūdeņi apskalo Vecrīgas malu. Ūdens viļņojas zils un nomierina mani. Aiz Daugavas aug kupenveidīgi koki, kuri veido garas koku rindas. Tornī redzams karogs, kas stāsta, ka šī zeme ir Latvija. Vecrīgā daudz torņu, kuri smaili un iestiepjas augstu debesīs. Rīga ir centrālā Latvijas pilsēta, kur notiek arī skolēnu sacensības.
