INTRODUCTION
During the efforts to initially open the tower to the public, dozens of volunteers worked in the area under the leadership of Jitka Jakubičková. The removal of many tons of waste that had accumulated in the tower over decades was organized. Cleaning work took place for many months, usually on weekends. People of all ages participated, from students to senior citizens. Some of them still help the volunteer association today.
