Through original photographs, drawings and records, diverse forms of wells and water wells, traditional techniques of their construction and their role in water supply, agriculture and social life of the city of Petrinja and surrounding villages will be presented, as well as their renovation after the earthquake that hit central Croatia. Wells and water wells are a key element in ensuring drinking water for people, animals and various economic activities from antiquity to today. This exhibition will point out the importance of their preservation as part of local identity, as well as an indicator of cultural and economic changes.
