Ευρωπαϊκές Ημέρες Κληρονομιάς  (European Heritage Days)

Cyprus participates in the European Heritage Days since 1995. European Heritage days is an institution established by the Council of Europe in 1991 and supported by the European Union. The purpose of this institution is to allow the general public to know and appreciate the cultural heritage. During the Days, historical and traditional areas open for public, particularly the ones whose access is not always feasible. Other events can include exhibitions, lectures, music, cultural events, etc. in order to get to know the tradition of each place.
