Fully guided tour of Ballykilcavan Farm, including a walk around the 18th century farmyard and stable yard, the champion black walnut tree of Ireland, the hop garden and the Back Lawn barley field. Ballykilcavan has won eight national sustainability awards over the last four years and this event focuses on the sustainability measures being taken on the farm and the brewery and visitor centre. The tour includes a 700m walk around the farm on generally level ground, but not suitable for buggies. The tour is completely outdoors, so appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather are required. Ballykilcavan is a Gold status member of Origin Green and a member of the Irish Historic Houses Association.
