The Jean and Denise Letaille Museum in Bullecourt, located on the front line during the Great War, houses the story of thousands of soldiers who came to defend the Arras sector in 1917. Throughout their lives, Jean and Denise Letaille, a couple of farmers, have gathered an impressive collection of objects found in their fields and in the surrounding countryside. Weapons, uniform ammunition and personal effects from Australia, Germany and the United Kingdom found on the former front line. On the very spot where 10,771 Australian and 7,000 British soldiers were killed or wounded.
