Gladiators. One word which brings out a lot of thoughts in people. It all began when a while back I watched the movie “The Gladiator”. It inspired me so much that I immediately wanted to do a painting of it. In the movie it is said “What we do in life, echoes in eternity.” which I think describes different cultures perfectly. The happenings of the Colosseum is still seen in many sports, like boxing, where people enjoy watching fights. I find this very fascinating. The movie made an impact on me especially when I’ve been very interested in the Colosseum, and Ancient Rome for that matter. The movie grew this passion even more.
