Sixth graders Sylvía, Embla, Sirrý og Ísabella made a video about an abandoned fjord in North Iceland called Héðinsfjörður. It used to be very remote but has recently been connected to neighboring areas by tunnels and a road. They tell stories of avalanches that decimated the settlement and of the deadliest plane crash in Icelandic history which happened in the fjord in 1947. A Celtic cross was erected at the site 50 years after the crash.
