Aperçu

During this year's European Heritage Days, we will take our guests on a journey through time and space. We will go back several hundred years to learn about the works of masters creating wall polychromes in medieval temples and residences - the extraordinary heritage of the Kaczawskie Mountains and Foothills, the Land of Extinct Volcanoes.

We will take this journey in a symbolic way - throughout the duration of the event, we will present films about several objects, introducing the topic and realities of the epoch, and then we will invite you to play, during which participants will walk along the Kaczawskie Route of Medieval Polychrome walking around our Tower. The presentation will be a combination of an exhibition and a field game in the form of a quest. There will also be workshops on old art techniques and the theme of the painting decoration of the hall of the Grand Ducal Tower in Siedlęcin, where there is the world's only in situ work depicting the legend of Sir Lancelot from the Lake.
