"Wine consumption in Mallorca and the Mediterranean. A view from anthropology", by Dr. Margalida Mulet
The traditions, customs, legends, myths and areas of socialisation will be explained under the heading of wine. In addition, it will be discovered whether certain wines can be part of the economy of prestigious goods.
Margalida Mulet holds a doctorate in anthropology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS-Paris). She is a specialist in the anthropology of food. She has coordinated the European project "MEDFEST -Culinary heritage experiences: how to create sustainable tourist destinations" on sustainable tourism through food heritage and has worked as a technician on various food sustainability projects at the Food Observatory (ODELA) of the University of Barcelona (UB). She is a professor on the "University of Experience" programme (UB), an associate professor at the University of Lleida and a professor on the Master's in Culinary and Gastronomic Heritage Management at CETT-UB. Member of INSA (Institute of Food Safety-UB).
