Gorka Pérez de la Peña will explain the modernisation that the construction had in the educational field, at the end of the 19th century, of city councils  that housed schools inside them and, later, the
construction of groundbreaking neighbourhood schools in the 1920s and 30s of the 20th century. 

The conference will be followed by a visit to the public schools of Gernika -eclectics from the end of the 19th century- and the neighbourhood schools of Luno.
