The writer Luis Goytisolo Gay (Barcelona, 1935) is the great-grandson of Agustín Goytisolo, born in Lekeitio in 1811 Carpenter by profession, he emigrated to Cuba in 1833 and prospered with its sugar mills. On his return he established in Barcelona, where he continued his business.
The three Goytisolo Gay brothers are well known writers. Luis has has written numerous works and has also received numerous awards literary. Today it is also an academic of the Spanish language.
During the event he will talk about the memories that his family has preserved from the Indian great-grandfather Augustine and the family relationship with Lekeitio.
