Tereza Buconić Gović (1947- 2012) a Dubrovnik writer and a professor of the Croatian language and literature combined her love for literature and heritage in her books. She published 10 books dedicated to her homeland in which she preserved the unique memories of historical gardens of Rijeka Dubrovačka that were typical of the local villas. She described local customs and products for everyday use, the beauties spots of Konavle, Rijeka Dubrovačka, Osojnik and Lopud. Her words preserved the strong connection between the men and the nature.
