The Gorski Kotar region is a still insufficiently researched and valorised. The Croatian Society of Art Historians initiated a project that includes art historians from this region of Croatia and the local population with an aim of using the participative method to promote connections with the local municipalities in order to raise the awareness of the community about the values of heritage and to enable the additional more thorough and interdisciplinary research.
