En esta visita guiada recorreremos la Senda, el campus universitario y el barrio de San Cristóbal conociendo el origen de algunos de los edificios más emblemáticos de la ciudad conociendo su evolución y su adaptación a nuevos usos. Cada uno de ellos será un testigo físico de los cambios sociales que Vitoria-Gasteiz ha tenido a lo largo del tiempo. La arquitectura y algunas anécdotas serán el hilo conductor del recorrido. El último edificio que conoceremos será el Apartahotel Kora Green City. Es el alojamiento Passivhaus más grande de Europa. Se ha construido siguiendo una filosofía de sostenibilidad y eficiencia energética gracias a las que ha podido reducir un 98 % sus emisiones de CO2: el equivalente al trabajo de purificación que tendría que hacer un bosque de 13.500 árboles al año. On this guided tour we will walk along the Senda, the university campus and the San Cristóbal neighbourhood, learning about the origins of some of the city's most emblematic buildings and learning about their evolution and their adaptation to new uses. Each of them will be a physical witness to the social changes that Vitoria-Gasteiz has undergone over time. The architecture and some anecdotes will be the guiding thread of the tour. The last building we will see is the Kora Green City Aparthotel. It is the largest Passivhaus accommodation in Europe. It has been built according to a philosophy of sustainability and energy efficiency, thanks to which it has been able to reduce its CO2 emissions by 98%: the equivalent of the purification work that a forest of 13 hectares would have to do. that a forest of 13,500 trees a year would have to do.
