As part of the 2023 European Heritage Day event, the Labin National Museum will present an amended and improved part of the permanent exhibition dedicated to the fishing and Maritime culture and heritage of Labin. The exhibition was modified as part of the project Sea of Memory, whose aim is to preserve the fishing/maritime tradition and promote sustainable fishing and aquaculture. As part of the project, a documentary film on the fishing heritage of Labin area was filmed, which will be shown to museum visitors. During the opening of the part of the permanent exhibition, a presentation of weaving and patching fishing nets will be held under the guidance of local fishermen.
