El pueblo de Garai siempre ha estado muy vinculado a la tierra. Antaño se hacían procesiones y se entonaban letanías para pedir una buena cosecha y tiempo favorable o para ahuyentar las tormentas. Alguna de esas costumbres aún perduran en el pueblo. Los vecinos de Garai nos explicarán qué procesiones se siguen celebrando en el pueblo y cuáles eran los ritos que realizaban. A continuación, haremos una simulación de una pequeña letanía de Garai. Recorreremos los espectaculares paisajes del entorno y, tal y como se hacía en las letanías, al regreso, beberemos vino dulce y comeremos galletas.

The people of Garai have always been closely linked to the land. In the past, processions were held and litanies were intoned to ask for a good harvest and favorable weather or to ward off storms.
